Book Giving Program Information
About the Program:
The program is coordinated through the efforts of the Argmaur Foundation and friends, beginning with the donation of its own resources and growing to include books from generous donors. As the first of many of the foundation's philanthropic efforts, we want this program to not only be a success, but an ignition for future programs.
Mission & Vision:
Our mission is to link generous donors with people who need or strongly desire specific books but are unable to obtain them. We envision a program that grows to be very beneficial for many institutions, and people in our communities with an underlying aim of making books easy to obtain for everyone.
Program Launch Date/Duration:
We're launching our program on October 1, 2009 with the intention of perpetuating its existence. The program operates in the following forms:
1. National Advertising/Marketing Campaign: October 1, 2009 to January 1, 2010
2. Book Giving (Book Listings, Donations, and Requests): October 1, 2009
3. Fundraising for Program Expansion: January 1-October 1, 2010
4. Program Celebration/Gala: October 2010
